Able Community Care helps you to be well prepared for the planning meeting by mentoring you on what options are available that will receive funding and how to express your goals in a form that ensures the NDIA planner understands exactly what you want. This will also help NDIA planner to identify which funding category your needs, goals and aspirations fall into so that the process goes smoothly and you minimise the requirement to request changes to your plan in the future.
Able Community Care wants to work closely with you throughout the planning process because we are your partner. We have a great deal of planning knowledge and experience that will be of great value to you each time you visit and NDIA planner.
This first stage of the NAtional Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in NSW began in the Hunter area on 1July 2013. From 1 July 2015 the NDIS started in the Nepean Blue Mountains area for children and young people under 18 years of age.
As of 1 July 2017, the NDIS has rolled out across the rest of NSW, and people living in Northern New South Wales, Mid North Coast, Sydney, South Eastern Sydney, Illawarra Shoalhaven, Murrumbidgee, Western New South Wales and Far West NSW will be able to access the NDIS.
